India constructs largest renewable energy project in bordering salt deserts

The Khavda renewable energy park, located in the large salt desert between India and Pakistan, is set to become the world’s largest renewable energy project in three years. The expansive solar and wind energy initiative, named after the nearby village, involves the installation of thousands of solar panels on concrete pillars and the construction of massive wind turbines, with the entire project expected to be visible from space.
