À Marseille, l’équipe BONES fait parler les os des défunts pour résoudre des enquêtes judiciaires

Connaissez-vous BONES ? Non, pas la série TV, mais bien l’équipe de recherche Bio-anthropologie de l’Os : Nature, Evolutions, Sociétés. Depuis 2012, au sein du laboratoire ADES (Anthropologie bioculturelle, Droit, Ethique et Santé) de la Faculté de médecine à la Timone, cette unité travaille à faire parler les os. Parmi ses nombreux champs de compétences, une vingtaine de fois par an, l’équipe BONES collabore avec la justice lors d’enquêtes, afin de redonner une identité à un corps découvert par la police.
