GNOME’s security coordinator is quitting — and the reason why should worry every single Linux user. For six years, Michael Catanzaro tracked every security vulnerability in the GNOME desktop alone. Now he says AI-generated vulnerability reports have become so overwhelming that human-written reports are the rare ones.
