Saitama Prefectural Omiya High School and Saitama Prefectural Fudoka High School in Japan collaborated to host Wikipedia Town in June and November 2022. This is the first initiative of its kind in Japan, as there have been no initiatives in which several schools have held the event simultaneously or consecutively.
