Two Different Models, 155 and 188 Hp, Price Range 159.800 to 212.000 Yuan, New Mazda CX-50 SUV 2023

The Mazda CX-50 SUV was officially introduced with a pre-sale price of 159,800 to 212,000 yuan.

From the perspective of the real car, the front of the new car is still a fairly recognizable family face. The middle grille is stretched wider horizontally. The inner side of the headlights is designed with open corners. The face looks very domineering.

At present, hard SUV models have become a new trend, and the black big wheel eyebrows on the side and the lower circumference shape of the new Mazda CX-50 looks like a very hard SUV. As an SUV model, it is in such a shape. It will be useful in difficult road conditions. In addition, the new car continues to use Mazda’s iconic short front overhang layout, and the long front looks very youthful and sporty.

The shadow of the current CX-5 can also be seen at the rear of the car, especially in the taillight part. The interior shape of the horizontally split taillight is very sharp, and the interior light source structure reflects the headlights. The rear bumper also uses a wide area black surround + silver skid plate combination which looks very tough and the single tailpipes on both sides are very noticeable.

For the interior, the center console of this new CX-50 still maintains Mazda’s consistent simple design style. The shape of the entire center console reflects product positioning that emphasizes the driving experience with a focus on the driver’s side. In terms of details, the missing chrome decoration and stitching texture decoration have a good sense of refinement, and the floor-style accelerator is also a design that emphasizes control.

The length, width and height of this new Mazda CX-50 are 4785/1920/1638 mm respectively and the wheelbase is 2815 mm, this is relatively large in current compact SUV models, so its rear area also stands out.

In terms of power configuration, the new car will pre-release two power versions of the 2.0L/2.5L, where the 2.0L model has a maximum output of 155 horsepower and the 2.5L model has a maximum power of 188 horsepower. All models are compatible with 6AT gearboxes.

Summary: In general, the current pre-sale price of 159,800 to 212,000 yuan for the new CX-50 is considered very cost-effective among the current joint venture brand models of the same level. And this time, the back row space is completely empty, coupled with the stable power system, the overall product strength and cost performance are still very good.
