Umno President Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has hinted that Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob will seek to dissolve Parliament this week.
This is according to an Umno supreme council member, who spoke to Malaysiakini on the condition of anonymity.
He said this indicates that it is highly likely that the prime minister will seek an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to advise him to dissolve Parliament this Friday.
In fact, the Umno leader did not rule out the possibility that the tabling of Budget 2023 would be delayed.
