Mohamad: Cannon procurement cancelled due to direct negotiation, will use open tender instead

Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the procurement of the 155mm self-propelled howitzer to boost the Army’s firepower was cancelled and the weapon would be bought through open tender.

The Defence Minister on Thursday (April 13) explained that they cancelled the procurement process as it was done through direct negotiation.
